Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) is Australia's national export body formed in 1998. It represents members from Australia 's recreational and light commercial boating industry, boat manufacturers and providers of marine goods and services as well as the Australian Marine Industries Federation (operating as the Boating Industry Association of Australia), with key support from Austrade (Australian Trade Commission), DISR Engineering & Marine Industries Section (Department of Industry, Science & Resources) and Federal, State and Local government.

AIMEX's mission and purpose is to focus, develop and promote Australia's international competitiveness in boating and marine products by developing an internationally recognised brand image promoting these products, services, capabilities and expertise of its members, into targeted markets worldwide.

AIMEX is now promoting a Team Australia approach for Australian companies at major boat shows in Australia, Europe, the United States, Asia and Japan. They are also involved in developing marine products and services buyer guides, magazines and newsletters for worldwide distribution, jointly hosting with the AMIF, an Australian Marine Industry and Boating internet site, hosting inward and outward trade missions and working with the government on important export issues affecting the Australian boating and marine industry.
