The Marina Association of NSW is an association made up of numerous industry members. Their objectives include:
- To provide a regular forum for consideration and resolution of matters of state interests and significance
- To work closely with marina organizations, government ( at all levels) and other interest groups for improved waterways management and to increase the industry's effectiveness by presenting an unified body to all stakeholders
- To promote the industry domestically for the benefit of members
- To provide support to all members and ensure compliance with all relevant codes of practice as they relate to marinas.

Receive the Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA) newsletter, with relevant subject matter, information and contacts.
As an association, the MA NSW can bring together operators with similar objectives and issues and share both information and experience. Where possible, support and representation will be provided, in order to increase public and government awareness of the Association.
Membership to the MA NSW is open to all marina and slipway operators, yacht and sailing clubs and other participants in the recreational and light commercial boating and marine industry.
