The BIA Boating Cadetship is a 12 month program that combines hands-on full time work in a marine business with study for a relevant qualification in the industry.  This program will allow you to experience a range of tasks and jobs within the business, and provide you with an better understanding of the industry and its many career paths.
 
During the 12 months you will:

• Get to work with 2 different businesses; gaining experience, learning new skills and earning a wage

• Attend TAFE one day a week to study for Certificate II in Boating Services

• Obtain your:

• Boat Licence
  
• ‘Apply First Aid’ certificate
  
• BIA Marine Card (OHS General Induction)
• Fire Training

At the end of the 12 months, you will have gained a well rounded knowledge and skills base for the beginning of a successful career in the boating industry.
