On show at the Sydney International Boat Show

Representatives of the Shipwright & Boat Builders Association attend the Sydney International Boat Show each year to talk to visitors about what work they are able to do.   When visiting the boat show, please stop by to see how we work and meet one of our friendly members.

Boat Building Competition
What started as a friendly challenge over a decade ago has become an annual tradition.  This tradition is known as the Boat Building Competition, and happens every year at the Sydney International Boat Show.  It’s on once only so don’t miss it.  Saturday morning starting 10 AM.

For more information on how the artists of the boat building industry are thrown into uncomfortable surrounding, given impossible materials to work with and then challenged to build and launch a boat in only ours, see www.sydneyboatshow.com.au/activities/boat-building

New Zealand Challenge
The challenge never goes away.  No matter the sport, our Kiwi cousins always enjoy the challenge against the Aussies.  Be it at the Sydney Boat Show Boat Building Competition or at the New Zealand Boat Building Competition, members of the Shipwright and Boat Builders Association will challenge each other for supremacy as the better boat builders.
